Chelsea Hoover, MS, RD, LDN
As a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, I received my Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University. With an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, I combined my knowledge and passion for health and wellness to help promote proper nutrition and physical activity. At a young age, I developed an interest in health and wellness through training in the Martial Arts in which overall physical, mental, and spiritual wellness play an integral role in the system’s program and methodology. Today, I specialize in one-on-one customized nutrition counseling, corporate wellness, and personal training. At Fuel for Thought Nutrition, we offer a variety of nutrition and wellness plans so that each person can meet their individual health goals.

I know it can be difficult to find time to cook, especially when you are looking for a healthy option. I will share with you some of my favorite recipes with a few of my personal tweaks.
BERRY SPINACH SMOOTHIE
It's smoothie season! Smoothies don't need to have a bunch of ingredients to be healthy. Keep it simple and you may be more likely to incorporate them as a consistent part of your diet.
1-2 cups mixed berries (frozen is easiest and as nutritious as fresh)
1-2 cups spinach (this is a great way to sneak an extra serving of veggies into your day. You won't even taste it!)
1 cup greek yogurt
Add water, milk, or a milk substitute until desired consistency
